 Review:
So, I have a confession to make. We don't read TEASERS! Melissa NEVER reads a synopsis and I have quit reading them as well. What can I say, we liked to be surprised. So when I got this book, I had no idea what it was going to be about. I just new it was going to be AWESOME because Teresa Mummert wrote it and lets face it, she doesn't know how to write a bad book. I've read every book by her and she is off the charts AMAZING!!

So, Safe Word...hmmm, I expected some BDSM based on the title, but I knew deep down there was a twist to it. Like true Teresa Mummert style she likes to mess with your mind a little bit. Like don't judge a book by its cover or in this case by its name, lol. So here it goes, what's so GREAT about Safe Word....

This book is filled with anger and resentment, past loves and guilt. It will make you question things you thought you knew. Make the gray area between right and wrong a little wider. Make you question your morals, what's really right and wrong? I love that the main character Colt isn't your typical white knight, I like that he is flawed and struggles with the past. Life hasn't been good to him and it shows, but he's made the best of a shitty situation. He has been wronged his whole life, on his own his whole life. I liked him from the beginning and he just got better and better.

About the Author:
I was a Russian spy at the ripe age of thirteen, given my uncanny ability to tell if someone was lying ( I also read fortunes on the weekends). By sixteen I had become too much of a handful for the Lethal Intelligence Ensemble (L.I.E.). I was quickly exiled to the south of France where I worked with wayward elephants in the Circus of Roaming Animals and People (C.R.A.P.). I was able to make ends meet by selling my organs on the black market for pocket change and beer money. At the age of twenty three I decided to expand my horizons and become a blackjack dealer in Ireland. I loved the family atmosphere at Barney's Underground Liquor Lounge (B.U.L.L.). People couldn't resist the allure of Liquor up front and poker in the rear. Eventually I became tired of the rear and headed off to the United States to try my hand at tall tales. That is what brings us here today. If you have a moment I'd like to tell you a story.
